The Impact Together adventure is beginning for 21 new organisations

This year, our philanthropic fund has chosen 21 social organisations spread across Belgium. Whether they’re helping young people, supporting mental health, promoting social cohesion or providing preventive family support, they're all making a difference. And they plan to continue doing so well into the future!

Substantial funding for fundamental work

Thanks to the growing success of our customers’ sustainable and responsible investments, Impact Together has been able to put together a total budget of €1.7 million, or €40,000 to €80,000 for each of the 21 organisations selected. This will help provide structural support to those organisations over a period of three years.

That support involves a journey during which specialist consultants will help organisations start – and complete! – projects related to their strategy, governance and financial management, along with coaching for their managers, impact assessments and digitalisation projects. This is fundamental work that will help them overcome the challenges they face.

A solid selection process

After initial screening by the King Baudouin Foundation, around 60 applications were examined by the Impact Together Investment Committee. Shortlisted organisations were visited, and finally the 21 successful ones were selected.

This lengthy process, which takes several months, ensures that each organisation has a well-defined project, supported by its team, management and board of directors, as well as sufficient internal resources to implement it. Each organisation has its own unique profile and situation, and the support will be tailored to each organisation’s needs. This also allows us to support more fragile projects, which is what Positive Banking is all about.

Early next year, you and your customers will be able to vote for your two favourites among these 21 dynamic organisations.
