My online payment is being declined. Why?

Here are the possible reasons:

  • There was a connection failure between the bank and the merchant.
  • Something went wrong during your confirmation. Check if the Easy Banking code entered is correct or if the steps involving the card reader were followed correctly.
  • The service is temporarily unavailable.
  • There is a problem with the relevant card or the account concerned.

If these reasons are not the cause, call the Easy Banking Centre via Help and contact then Info and contact in the Easy Banking App. Not using the app? Call us on +32 2 762 90 00 and identify yourself with your customer number and Easy Banking Phone code.
