What should I do if my card is lost or stolen?

If you want to block your card permanently.
You can block and replace your debit card directly in your Easy Banking App:

  1. Log in to the Easy Banking App.
  2. Tap on My services then Accounts and cards.
  3. Tap on the cards linked to the account and select the debit card you want to replace.
  4. Tap on Block permanently or replace.
  5. Indicate whether the card is lost or stolen.
  6. Confirm the block and then choose your new card’s PIN.
  7. Confirm the replacement of the card.

You don’t use Easy Banking App or you want to block and replace a credit card?
1. Call Card Stop immediately on +32 78 170 170 (24/7).
2. Report the loss or theft to the police within 24 hours (also if you’re abroad).
3. Is it a credit card with Optiline? If so, then call the Easy Banking Centre next.

You’ll automatically receive a new card.
You’ll receive a new PIN in the post.
Received your new card? Complete the activation of your card by using it once in a physical store. You can change your PIN at an ATM.

If you don’t know where your card is and you still want to look for it, you can temporarily block it in Easy Banking App.
1. Log in to the Easy Banking App.
2. Click on My services at the bottom of the page and select Accounts and cards.
3. Tap on the cards linked to the account and select your card. Have you selected a credit card? Click on the gear icon to open the settings. 
4. (De)activate the temporary block.
