Liability insurance for businesses is Belgian-law liability insurance policy law from AG SA, distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis SA. The policy is valid for 1 year, at the end of which it will be renewed by tacit agreement for the same period, except where it is cancelled at least three months before the renewal date.
Whatever your business involves, you could cause damage to someone at any time while carrying it out. If you've made a mistake or if you’re at fault, you’ll be held liable.
That means that you’ll have to compensate the person who suffered the damage, and the bill can quickly rise and put you in financial difficulties. Fortunately, liability insurance for businesses protects you from this risk by compensating the victim of the damage on your behalf.

Tailored liability cover
In addition to the operational liability cover that’s always included in your policy, you can choose other types of cover that you really need: liability for property in care, custody and control, post-completion liability or professional liability.
In the widest possible range of situations
Whether it’s damage to your staff's vehicles, damage following a fire or pollution or theft committed by a staff member, your liability is covered by liability insurance for businesses!
Ancillary activities and works Insured
Your liability insurance covers activities and works that are ancillary to your main activity, such as organising and taking part in trade fairs or exhibitions, from preparation to dismantling.
High sums insured
Thanks to high basic sums insured suited to your business area, you get optimal protection. You can also adjust the sum insured if you wish.
Operational liability cover is always included in your liability insurance for businesses policy. It covers your extra-contractual liability for damage caused to third parties by your business assets or personnel.
If you’ve damaged a tool that you rented or an item of property that was entrusted to you for work purposes, property in care, custody and control insurance covers the cost of the damage.
If damage occurs after you’ve delivered goods or completed your work, post-completion insurance covers your contractual and extra-contractual liability for the damage.
If you’re someone whose work consists of intellectual activities, like a consultant or accountant, this covers your contractual and extra-contractual liability for damage caused to a third party in the exercise of your profession.
