With this optional add-on to your fire insurance policy, you can protect the contents of your business premises – office, shop, workshop etc. – and your goods against theft and vandalism.
The protection is very broad: you’re covered for all types of break-ins, free replacement of your locks if keys are stolen, and theft involving violence outside your buildings is also covered.

Theft cover is an optional add-on to the Belgian-law building and contents fire insurance policy from AG SA, distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis SA. This optional cover is taken out for the same term as the main building and contents fire insurance policy.
The main building and contents fire insurance policy is valid for one year, at the end of which it will be renewed by tacit agreement for the same period, except where it is cancelled at least three months before the renewal date. For a policy taken out or renewed by tacit agreement on or after 1 October 2024, you have until two months before the renewal date to cancel it.
Equipment, furniture, goods... If there’s a break-in at your office, shop – or even your home if you use it for business purposes – this optional add-on to your business building and contents insurance policy allows you to get compensation for what’s been stolen from you. And the damage caused to your contents during the break-in is also covered, including acts of vandalism.

For all break-ins
There’s no need to worry about the type of break-in: theft and damage are covered, regardless of how the burglars got in.
Outside your premises
If your business’s items of value – cash, cheques etc. – are stolen with violence or threats, that’s also covered, even if it takes place outside your premises.
Keys stolen = locks replaced
Have the keys or door remote controls to your business premises been stolen? They will be replaced free of charge to avoid the risk of a future break-in!
Reduced premiums with an approved alarm
Have you secured your building by installing an approved alarm system (INCERT- or BOSEC-accredited with a maintenance contract)? If so, your premiums will be lower.
