* Top Bike is an omnium insurance policy under Belgian law from AG SA, distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis SA. It is a one-year contract with tacit renewal for the same period, unless terminated at least 3 months before the main expiry date. For contracts taken out or tacitly renewed from 1 October 2024, you have until 2 months before the main expiry date to terminate them.

** The guarantee only applies more than 1 km from your home and within the European Union (except in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Cyprus), and also in the United Kingdom, Monaco, San Marino, Andorra, Liechtenstein, the Vatican, Switzerland, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Iceland, Macedonia, Norway and Serbia. The Assistance guarantee does not apply in the Canary Islands and Madeira, in the Spanish enclaves of Ceuta and Melilla on African territory, in Turkey and on French territory outside metropolitan France.

Assistance guarantee

Material damage guarantee

Cover the cost of material damage to your bike, scooter or Segway and their accessories anywhere in the world. For your bike, scooter or Segway and their accessories.

Theft Guarantee

Protect yourself against financial loss in the event of vandalism or theft of your professional bike or soft mobility vehicle, including accessories. This comprehensive theft guarantee provides worldwide coverage.

Bike Accessories

Any accessories attached to your bike, scooter, or Segway are insured. Additionally, any accessories purchased afterwards are covered up to 10% of the insured value, with a maximum of €500. Helmets are covered up to €100.

Your protection in detail

Covered and non-covered risks

Professional bike insurance covers:

  • all accidents. On the road, during transport, loading and unloading

  • theft of your company bike, scooter, Segway, hoverboard, or unicycle if the lock*** is opened, forced, or broken, and the vehicle is secured to a fixed attachment point, bike rack, or another bike.

  • vandalism, theft, or attempted theft, whether or not a break-in occurs.

  • Between 10pm and 6am, we cover theft of mountain bikes, racing bikes, unicycles, or hoverboards that are protected by a lock and stored in a vehicle, enclosed space, or behind a fence.

  • theft or damage resulting from break-ins in garages, bike parking areas, on public roads, bike racks, or in cars.

Professional bike insurance does not cover:

  • damage caused to your company bike, scooter, Segway, hoverboard or unicycle and accessories by a defect, poor maintenance or improper use

  • theft of one or more accessories if your company bike, scooter, Segway, hoverboard or unicycle has not been stolen.

  • damage caused by excessive load or overload of a trailer

  • theft of an mountain bike, racing bike, unicycle or hoverboard, if it does not take place between 10pm and 6am, in an enclosed space or fenced area, or if it is not locked.

*** The Theft guarantee applies provided that an approved ART 2-star lock (chain lock, U-lock or folding lock) or a lock with a minimum value of 60 euros is used. This device must be attached to a fixed attachment point. A fixed attachment point is a fixed, immobile and hard part in stone, metal or wood, connected to a solid wall or the ground and from which the bike or insured object cannot be detached or removed, even by lifting it. The lock is covered by the material damage and theft guarantees.
