Your child is growing up. Opening a bank account for your child is a first step towards financial independence.
The Welcome Pack includes a current account, adapted payment limits and access to online and mobile banking.
Add a debit card and/or a savings account, and give your child access to online banking (from age 7) and mobile banking (from age 12) via your Easy Banking App.
From age 12, your child can pay via QR code in-store and online using Easy Banking App. Payments via smartphone or smartwatch, such as Apple Pay, are also possible.
Payment and withdrawal limits are adapted to your child. Standard limits are €250 per week, and you can adjust them at any time.
All euro transactions are included: payments, transfers, cash withdrawals and statements. The Welcome Pack is a free current account with no hidden costs.
On your child’s 18th birthday, the account automatically becomes a Hello4You account, a free current account for young people up to 28.

You can open a Welcome Pack from birth up until the age of 18. From the age of 12, your child will need an ID card. For younger children, a Kids-ID or a certificate of family composition is sufficient. When they turn 18, the account is automatically converted into a Hello4You account, which remains free until they turn 28.
Yes, the Welcome Pack is completely free. All euro transactions are free: payments, transfers, withdrawals and account statements. Only paper statements sent by post are charged. No annual account fees apply.
Yes. Your child can use a debit card to pay in shops and withdraw cash. Standard weekly limits are €250 for payments and €250 for withdrawals. From age 12, your child can also pay via QR code or online using Easy Banking App. You can, via your own app, enable or disable contactless payments (with a smartphone or smartwatch).
You can track your child’s spending via Easy Banking Web or Easy Banking App. You can adjust limits and block the card in case of loss or suspected fraud. You can also give permission to use the card outside of Europe. This way you maintain full control over your child's bank account.
You can open a Welcome Pack child bank account online in three steps: complete the application form, upload identification documents (from the age of 12), and sign the contract securely. For children under 12, an alternative identity document is sufficient. Once your application has been approved, the account is activated and, if you wish, the debit card can be sent to you.
The Welcome Pack helps your child learn to manage money safely. You can use it to transfer pocket money, receive student job income, or allow family members to send money. Parental control ensures full oversight.

When opening a Welcome Pack for a child under 12 years old, you will now be asked to provide an official document proving their identity (identity card, certificate of family composition, parents' marriage certificate, etc.) in order to process the request in an even more efficient and secure manner.
