How to make an international transfer?

To make an international transfer, go to Easy Banking Web on a computer or tablet:

1. Create a new transfer.
2. Select an existing beneficiary or click on + to create a new one. First, choose the country of the beneficiary's bank and fill in the required and recommended data for that country. You will then benefit from a free transfer. Is this an existing beneficiary with missing required or recommended fields? Complete the missing data.
3. You can set the amount you want to transfer in euros or in the currency your beneficiary wants to receive. Depending on the field you enter, you will see the equivalent value appear in the other field. The exchange rate is indicated between the two fields. In case of an indicative exchange rate or if you sign the payment later, the last entered amount will be retained and the counter-value will be recalculated.
4. Generally, a payment in the currency of the beneficiary's bank country is proposed. To make a transfer in another currency, click on the currency next to the lower amount.
5. Your beneficiary will not have to pay any fees. You will not pay any fees for a payment in the currency of the beneficiary's bank country if all recommended details are also filled in.
6. Write a clear communication in English or in the language of the destination country. In the Currency Guide, you will find all the information requested by other countries.
7. Select the nature of the payment from the list. This is a required field for some countries.
8. Click on Next. An overview of the fees and exchange rate appears.
9. Confirm the transfer.

Within two working days, the transfer will appear in the list of your executed transactions; the transfer has been successfully executed. You will be notified by a message in Easy Banking if the transaction has failed.

For international transfers, two types of exchange rates apply:

1. An indicative exchange rate that applies to specific currencies and weekends and public holidays.
2. A guaranteed exchange rate that is ensured if you confirm the transaction within 10 minutes.
