Today, you can check your account balance, make transfers, make payments and access your account statements directly on your smartphone, tablet or computer. And it's secure. Yes, really! When you use Easy Banking App and Easy Banking Web, the procedures we use ensure the security of your personal and banking data. Read on and judge for yourself.

Never share your confidential data

There are fraudsters who try to impersonate BNP Paribas Fortis by email, text message and telephone. Under no circumstances will we EVER ask you:

  • for any codes related to your cards (including the 3-digit CVV code on the back of your card) or your Easy Banking App or Web access codes
  • for any codes received by text message or generated by your card reader or by itsme®
  • to install any software allowing us to take control of your device remotely
  • to confirm or cancel a transaction via itsme®
  • to transfer money into a supposedly secure account

Similarly, we will NEVER come to your home to collect your cards, card readers, codes, mobile phone or anything else.

Please also use the same level of caution if you receive a message or call supposedly coming from an official authority like the police or a government department, a company, a helpdesk or Card Stop.

A tightly controlled connection

Your app, your device

You can only access Easy Banking App if we recognise your device. It’s automatically registered the first time you connect using your bank card and card reader. You’re the only one who can use your app, via your Easy Banking code, fingerprint or facial recognition.

The right combination

Do you use itsme? Then you need your smartphone and your itsme code (or fingerprint or facial recognition). Do you use your card reader? In that case, your bank card and PIN, as well as the code generated by your card reader, are essential.

A unique profile

To access Easy Banking Web and Easy Banking App, you must first create your profile. This ensures optimal security for your data and a secure connection. Moreover, each time you sign into Easy Banking App on a new device, a text message is sent for confirmation. The same applies when you tell us about a new phone number. These are additional precautions to allow you to react faster in the event of suspected or actual fraud!

Secure browsing

An "s" and a padlock

Once you’ve signed in, you’ll be using a secure website. How can you be sure? Check the presence of the padlock icon and "https" in your browser’s address bar.

An unusual transaction?

Do you want to make a large transaction, or transfer money to a payee who’s not yet on your list? Any unusual transactions must be confirmed using your payment card and card reader.

Forgot to log out?

Easy Banking App and Easy Banking Web will automatically log you out after a few minutes of inactivity.

Lost or stolen?

Stolen or lost device?

  • Contact your mobile operator and block your SIM card.
  • Log in to Easy Banking Web, go to settings > Access to our apps, and delete the device, or call us on 02 433 41 65 so we can immediately remove the device from our list. You will need your customer number (on your bank card) and the name used to create your Easy Banking profile.
  • Have you activated a “locate my device” feature? Block your device!
  • Has it been stolen? Report it to the police.
