Do you need cash? Or are you planning a holiday or business trip outside the eurozone? Your debit card and credit card remain the simplest and most effective payment methods. For cash withdrawals, your debit card is best.

Order euros or foreign currency

As a BNP Paribas Fortis customer, you can order euros or foreign currency via the Easy Banking Centre on +32 2 762 90 00. Choose a branch that offers cash withdrawals over the counter: the branch will contact you when your money’s ready to collect.

Foreign currency for travellers

You’ve decided on your next holiday destination, or you're soon heading abroad for work. Which currency is used locally? What payment methods are accepted? How do you carry out day-to-day transactions while you’re there?

To order currency, you must:

  • hold a current account with BNP Paribas Fortis
  • be an adult
  • have up-to-date ID with you

Too young? One of your parents can submit the request on your behalf.

It's essential to place your order in good time, as not all foreign currencies are immediately available. Get your foreign currency easily by calling the Easy Banking Centre on 02 762 90 00 or contact your branch.
