Car leasing with your private bank

As a Private Banking client, you have access to the following exceptional services:

• flexible booking: if your car needs maintenance or repair, you can schedule your appointments more easily
• Pickup and delivery: if your car needs maintenance or repair, it will be picked up and returned to the address of your choice
• guaranteed means of transport: if your car is out of action, you have the right to a replacement vehicle of the same category (up to category C) on the same day, even in case of a technical repair or maintenance involving less than one hour of
• labour, provided the request was made at least half a day in advance(4)
• VIP assistance: improved service if your car breaks down or needs towing, in Belgium and Europe.

Private Lease is reserved for individuals who are customers of BNP Paribas Fortis and Fintro Retail Banking. Private Lease is a product offered by Arval Belgium SA, with the involvement of BNP Paribas Fortis SA, Montagne du Parc/Warandeberg 3, 1000 Brussels – RPM Brussels – VAT BE 0403.199.702.

A lease will only be offered after acceptance of your application by Arval Belgium SA and will always be subject to Arval Belgium SA’s standard terms and conditions relating to Private Lease.

(1) The monthly lease payment including VAT depends on the agreed term and mileage. The monthly lease payment includes maintenance, repairs, an unlimited number of summer and winter tyres for normal use, registration tax, vehicle tax, depreciation, interest, VAT, European assistance, a replacement vehicle of a lower category if your vehicle is out of action at any time for more than 24 hours, Perfecta – through which Arval assumes the risk of damage, total loss or theft – with own risk and third-party insurance, legal expenses insurance and driver's insurance.

(2) Third-party insurance, legal expenses insurance and driver's insurance are included in the lease payment when taken out through Arval. However, these insurance policies can be taken out with the insurer of your choice. Third-party insurance is legally compulsory, while the others are optional.

The following are not included in the monthly lease payment: fuel, traffic fines and VAT. CO2 emissions figures are also indicative and depend on the chosen options or data provided by the manufacturer. At the end of the contract, mileage will be charged at the rate indicated in the leasing contract. In the event that the lease is terminated early, an additional termination fee will be charged. There is no option to buy.

The vehicle’s specification and lead time depend on its availability from the manufacturer or importer, and on the chosen configuration.

(3) You can choose not to include winter tyres and a replacement vehicle in your agreement. In the brochure, the costs related to winter tyres and a replacement vehicle are not included in the monthly lease payment.

(4) If a replacement vehicle is requested half a day in advance of the technical repair or service, the delivery time of the replacement vehicle will depend on the availability of vehicles or on the third-party supplier. To benefit from the replacement vehicle service, it must have been included in the Private Lease agreement.
