Motorhome insurance is a Belgian-law liability insurance policy from AG distributed by BNP Paribas Fortis. The policy is valid for 1 year, at the end of which it will be renewed by tacit agreement for the same period, except where it is cancelled at least three months before the renewal date.

For a policy taken out or renewed by tacit agreement on or after 1 October 2024, you have until two months before the renewal date to cancel it. In addition, from the second year onwards, you can cancel the policy at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of a 2-month period starting the day after notice is given by registered mail or served upon us, or the day after we provide an acknowledgement of receipt.

Motorhome liability insurance

Liability insurance is compulsory.

  • You can achieve a lifelong bonus-malus rating of -2 (Belgian classification system).
  • The liability insurance policy also entitles you to assistance and a replacement vehicle.
  • If you haven't had an accident while driving your motorhome for five years, you'll benefit from the Turbo Bonus, a favourable system for calculating your premium that doesn't take previous accidents into account.

RC Max insurance

We don't just stop at what's compulsory, even though our liability insurance policy already provides very extensive cover.

With RC Max insurance, as soon as you achieve a bonus-malus rating of -2 (the lowest at AG), you'll receive up to €250,000 in compensation if you suffer injury as a driver. Even better, this insurance is free and granted automatically.

Top omnium

Specifically designed to cover damage to your motorhome, Top Omnium offers numerous benefits that allow you to take to the road with complete peace of mind.

Your motorhome's insured value will not decrease for the first six months or 10,000 km after it’s first registered. You'll even get a replacement vehicle if your motorhome is stolen.

Motorhome+ pack

Is your new motorhome your most treasured possession?

Combined with Top Omnium, the Motorhome+ pack provides you with additional cover and extends your existing cover. So, the period during which your motorhome's insured value doesn’t decrease is extended to 18 months, and accessories and items transported during your trips are also covered.

Customised excess

After an accident, repairs can be expensive. With the right cover, those costs will be taken care of by your insurance. You can even determine the excess you want to apply (in relation to your motorhome's value) so you can always drive a vehicle that’s as good as new.
